Every motor carrier we tender to is verified for active operating authority, current liability and cargo insurance, clean CSA BASIC safety scores, and cargo-specific compliance. We check for unauthorized re-handling and double-broker risk, monitor authority and insurance continuously, and re-verify before each award — so a carrier that was clean last month is still clean today.
Cargolane carries broker contingent cargo coverage in addition to enforced minimums on every motor carrier we tender to: $1,000,000 in auto liability and $100,000 in cargo per load. Higher cargo limits can be arranged for high-value freight on request before tender. Each carrier's certificate of insurance is verified for active coverage before the load is awarded — not just at onboarding.

Palletized retail freight, temperature-sensitive food and beverage, raw materials, oversized machinery — we match the right equipment and carrier for the commodity. For reefer freight we also verify download reports, confirm seal integrity, and document chain of custody at every stop.
